With the new Magic: The Gathering set, Murders at Karlov Manor, Clue tokens are becoming more popular. That is why I made my own custom Clue token as part of my commercial token card series.
Investigating a new Clue token

How Clue Tokens Work
A Clue token is a special kind of artifact token. When a card tells you to "Investigate," you make a Clue token. Each Clue token lets you pay {2} mana, then sacrifice it to draw a card. This means you can turn extra mana into new cards, which is always helpful. Since Clues are artifacts, they also work well with cards that care about artifacts, tokens, or sacrificing things.
Popular Cards That Use Clues
Here are some well-known Magic cards that make or use Clue tokens:
- Tireless Tracker: Makes a Clue whenever a land enters the battlefield for you. It also gets stronger each time you sacrifice a Clue. Also a card reintroduced in the new Final Fantasy Set

- Forensic Gadgeteer: This newer card is popular in Clue-themed Commander decks.
