Investigating a new Clue token

With the new Magic: The Gathering set, Murders at Karlov Manor, Clue tokens are becoming more popular. That is why I made my own custom Clue token as part of my commercial token card series.

How Clue Tokens Work

A Clue token is a special kind of artifact token. When a card tells you to "Investigate," you make a Clue token. Each Clue token lets you pay {2} mana, then sacrifice it to draw a card. This means you can turn extra mana into new cards, which is always helpful. Since Clues are artifacts, they also work well with cards that care about artifacts, tokens, or sacrificing things.

Popular Cards That Use Clues

Here are some well-known Magic cards that make or use Clue tokens:

  • Tireless Tracker: Makes a Clue whenever a land enters the battlefield for you. It also gets stronger each time you sacrifice a Clue. Also a card reintroduced in the new Final Fantasy Set

Why I Made a Custom Clue Token

With Clues showing up in more decks, having a cool and unique token makes your games more fun. My custom Clue token is made to look great on the table and add something special to your games, whether you are drawing a card or building up a board full of artifacts.
